Letter from the President of CIBS
Dear CIBS Members and Annual Sponsors –
We know that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak likely continues to weigh on many of our Members’ minds. During these challenging times, the safety and well-being of our Membership remains our top priority, and I thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this situation together.
As we continue to monitor the Coronavirus situation, we will be implementing precautionary measures consistent with advice from global health authorities. Public health officials urge social distancing to help halt the spread of the virus. Social distancing is a measure that seeks more physical separation between individuals and discourages large gatherings.
In response to this directive, we are suspending all CIBS functions scheduled to be held during the months of March and April which will include Lunch & Learn, Educational Breakfast Events, Panel Discussions, and all Networking Events. Our objective is to be diligent in containing the risk associated with being physically together.
Due to the fantastic registration response, the MEDTAIL event will be rescheduled later in the year and we are hopeful that the Annual Real Estate Dinner and Annual Golf Outing will not be impacted. Updates will be communicated regularly as the situation continues to evolve.
We are confident we can continue to support the needs of our Members and the CIBS organization while implementing this proactive measure.
Wishing everyone good health.
