Michael Ferruggia is a partner of the Melville, NY based law firm of Bruno, Gerbino, Soriano & Aitken, LLP. He joined BGS&A as partner in December 2019 when he started a new real estate division for the firm. His primary focus is in the commercial and residential real estate markets. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Pennsylvania.
For more than two decades Mr. Ferruggia has provided the highest caliber of legal representation an extensive base of institutional, corporate, and private clientele. Complimenting his private practice, he is an actively engaged keynote lecturer and industry trainer for all aspects of real property law, mortgage lending, real estate transactions and current market trends. He is also an adjunct professor of real estate law at Villanova University.
Committed to raising the industry standard of practice in New York, Mr. Ferruggia founded in 2013 the New York Center of Real Estate (NYCORE)–a fully accredited real estate school offering relevant and contemporary Continuing Education programs to real estate professionals.
Since 2014 Mr. Ferruggia has also served as counsel to the Board of the Hamptons North Fork REALTORS® Association (HANFRA). As such, he serves as the legal liaison and voice of Long Island REALTORS® in both state and national matters.
