E&M Logistics has closed on its $5.35 million acquisition of a Hauppauge office property.
The company, a distributor of several brands of ice cream and frozen foods including Haagen-Dazs, Edy’s, Blue Bunny, Dolly Madison, Freshetta and DiGiorno Pizzas, is planning to redevelop the 20,600-square-foot building on 2 acres at 380 Oser Ave. into a 48,000-square-foot cold storage facility.
The $13.4 million redevelopment project is being assisted by economic incentives from the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency.
E&M recently sold its 10,291-square-foot industrial building on 3 acres at 200 Crossways Park Drive West in Woodbury to the Rockefeller Group for $11 million.
Joseph Baretta of MetroNet Realty represented the buyer, while Matthew Balzano of Schacker Realty represented seller 380 Oser Associates LLC in the Hauppauge sales transaction.
