The Long Island Builders Institute is working with a national consulting firm to assist in its search for a new CEO.

The Manhattan office of Chicago-based executive search firm 20/20 Foresight is collecting resumes for the position to head LIBI, after the group’s current leader Mitch Pally announced in March that he is retiring at the end of the year.

Pally has been at the helm of the trade group for 12 years, serving four three-year terms as LIBI’s leader. Prior to becoming its CEO in Jan. 2011, Pally had served as vice president of government relations at the Long Island Association and later as an attorney specializing in land-use and zoning issues for the Weber Law Group in Melville.
