CIBS had another successful year due in part to the financial support received from our sponsors during 2016.  As we enter 2017, celebrating our 25th year, we ask for your participation and support. Below, please find an outline of the sponsorship benefits.

The Annual CIBS Sponsorship for 2017 will include the following:

  • 1 Annual Membership ($200.00 value) with all membership benefits
  • Maximum exposure at 4-5 Program Events which will include company banner display (if provided), company name announcement and recognition, plus 4 Guests per event, and Logo Video Display
  • Company Logo Display at all other events (except joint CIBS/ABLI events)
  • Individual member discount to the ABLI/CIBS Annual Real Estate Dinner
  • Summer Party with 1 Additional Guest
  • Logo Video Display, plus 1 Guest, at the CIBS Annual Dinner in November
  • Individual member invite to the ABLI Holiday Party in December
  • Your logo will appear on our website during the sponsorship
  • Prominent logo and company name display on sponsor signboards
  • 2 Complimentary Invitations to any of your company’s freshman associates to attend our Future Generation events, held throughout the year. As a sponsor, you will receive advance notice of the Future Generation events and a reminder to include the freshman associates on the list, as our guests. The events include cocktail networking mixers at some of the most exclusive Long Island clubs and restaurants, as well as breakfast educational classes which highlight real estate related topics, hosted by leading industry professionals.
  • And new for 2017 – one full page advertisement in the CIBS 25th Anniversary Commemorative Journal.

The total package cost is $2,500.00.

Congrats to CIBS associate board member Melissa Naeder

Cushman & Wakefield announced that retail broker, Melissa Naeder has joined the firm as a Senior Director of Retail Brokerage in Long Island.

Naeder will be based in the Melville office, and will work with Katie Mahon, Managing Director, Retail Services & Brokerage Operations, Tri-State Region and Joseph Caridi, Executive Managing Director, Downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island, to lead our retail efforts in the suburban market.

Naeder joins Cushman & Wakefield with over 12 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently as a Director at Sabre, where she worked on the growth of national retailers on Long Island such as AT&T, Blink Fitness and Starbucks.

Prior to this role, Naeder worked at Commercial Retail Associates as Director of Leasing, working with tenants like Sears, Five Guys, and Denny’s.

Commercial Industrial Broker Society of Long Island

CIBS was formed in 1993 out of the shared belief among the region’s leading brokers that the region needed a unified voice to advocate on behalf of professionalism, ethics and industry cohesion.  Since its formation, CIBS has helped upgrade the industry by offering hundreds of educational programs, seminars, and presentations; advocated professional standards and offered grievance resolution; provided informal mentoring relationships; raised tens of thousands of dollars for local charities; and created social settings in which colleagues have become friends, and competitors respected peers.
